About the event
Nick Chambers, the founding GM of Valley Roots Food Hub in Mosca, CO has now been in Colorado local food distribution for over 10 years. He is one of the co-founders of the Tap Root Cooperative which is the evolution of the Colorado Food Hub Network that aggregating products from around the State and serving customers from Durango to the front range. As an extension of the food hub, he has been working on the Dune Valley Distillery to further showcase the region's potatoes, quinoa, and fine local foods.
The topic of our discussion with Nick is how money can be a tool used to build a better model regenerating and restoring the local food system.
